The Thomaston Bears baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Wilby Wildcats to 3 in the Bears non-league victory on Friday.
The Bears (3-8) will now prepare for their match against Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT). The Chiefs go into the Berkshire match with a 8-6 record. In their last match, Nonnewaug was overwhelmed by Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT), 9-5, in a league match.
The Wildcats (1-13) will now prepare for their match against Crosby (Waterbury, CT). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 2-13 record. In their last match, Crosby ran past Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT), 11-1, in a league match.
