The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL) and the host Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), saw Maine East's volleyball squad beat Lake Forest Academy by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Maine East upgrades its record to 12-17 on the year. The Blue Demons travel to Noble Street College Prep (Chicago, IL) to play the Golden Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, May 3. The Golden Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-8.
The Caxys now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Evanston for a non-league bout on Friday, May 3. Lake Forest Academy will play a Wildkits squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 13-11.
