Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Copley Indians (Copley, OH), 9-8 in a league battle.
The Demons now have a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walsh Jesuit for a Region 5 battle on Saturday, May 4. Westlake will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Wooster (Wooster, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 12-1.
In their next game, the Indians clash with the Highland Hornets (Medina, OH) in a Region 5 battle, on Tuesday, May 7. Copley will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record.
