Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL), 13-11 in a non-league battle.

The Patriots now have a 4-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbrook North for a non-league match on Saturday, May 4. Stevenson will play a Spartans team coming off a 11-2 league win over Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 12-5.

With the defeat, Lakes drops to 7-9 on the season. The Eagles host Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL) to play the Knights in a Northern Lake County match on Monday, May 6. The Knights go into the match with a record of 5-10. Grayslake North lost 15-4 in their recent non-league match against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL)
