In Friday's non-league outing, the host Medina Battling Bees softball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Aurora Greenmen.

Coming up next, the Battling Bees battle the Shaker Heights Red Raiders (Shaker Heights, OH) in a Greater Cleveland outing, on Saturday, May 4. Medina will attempt to upgrade on its 17-4 season record. The Red Raiders enter the outing with a 2-6 record after their 16-2 league loss to Mentor (Mentor, OH).
