The Chartiers Valley Colts softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Bethel Park Black Hawks to 3 in the Colts non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Chartiers Valley moves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Colts travel to Ambridge (Ambridge, PA) to clash with the Bridgers in a WPIAL 4A 3 game on Monday, May 6. The Bridgers come into the game with a record of 0-4. Ambridge lost 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Hampton (Allison Park, PA)

In their next game, the Black Hawks clash with the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 7. Bethel Park will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
