In Friday's non-league contest, the Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) softball team held off the host Camden Hills Windjammers (Rockport, ME), by a margin of 2-1.

With the triumph, Oceanside moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Mariners host Nokomis (Newport, ME) to play the Warriors in a Class B North contest on Monday, May 6. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 4-1. Nokomis won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Erskine Academy (South China, ME)

In their next game, the Windjammers play the Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) in a Class A North contest, on Monday, May 6. Camden Hills will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Broncos come into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 5-2 league win over Brewer (Brewer, ME).
