Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights (Plainsboro, NJ), 10-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Brunswick for a GMC - White challenge on Saturday, May 4.

With the loss, West Windsor-Plainsboro North falls to 6-9 on the season. The Knights travel to St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 4.
