Coupeville Wolves (Coupeville, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), 11-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host South Whidbey for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10.

With the loss, Nooksack Valley falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA) to battle the Wildcats in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Monday, May 6. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 8-9. Oak Harbor won 13-3 in their recent league challenge against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA)
