Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Wapakoneta Redskins (Wapakoneta, OH), 6-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clay for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. Defiance will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 18-5 league win over Ross (Fremont, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Wapakoneta falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Redskins host Lima Senior (Lima, OH) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 0-9. Lima Senior lost 20-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Shawnee (Lima, OH)
