New Jersey High School Softball - Pennsauken gets by Gateway Regional

The Pennsauken Indians nipped the visiting Gateway Regional Gators softball squad by a final score of 7-6 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Indians (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Riverside (Riverside, NJ). The Rams go into the BCSL - Freedom battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Riverside was edged by Maple Shade (Maple Shade, NJ), 17-2, in a league battle.
The Gators now possess a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Haddon Township for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 7. Gateway Regional will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Sterling (Somerdale, NJ). The Hawks record now stands at 10-6.
