The Quincy Blue Devils softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Illini West Chargers to 4 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Quincy moves its record to 11-8 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Granite City (Granite City, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Saturday, May 4. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 5-16. Granite City won 12-1 in their recent non-league game against Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL)

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 6. Illini West will attempt to move on its 15-8 season record. The Cyclones come into the game with a 7-8 record after their 13-4 non-league loss to Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL).
