Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Juarez Eagles (Chicago, IL), 19-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Payton College Prep for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. Northside will battle a Grizzlies squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Whitney Young (Chicago, IL). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, Juarez falls to 13-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Back of the Yards College Prep (Chicago, IL) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 6-3.
