Spectators at Friday's league match between the Milford Spartans (Milford, NH) and the host Lebanon Raiders (Lebanon, NH), witnessed Milford's softball squad tip Lebanon by a count of 9-5.

The Spartans now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pelham for a Division II match on Monday, May 6. Milford will meet a Pythons squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH). The Pythons record now stands at 4-6.
