Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Louis E. Dieruff Huskies (Allentown, PA), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they host Palmerton for a Colonial - West challenge on Monday, May 6. Wilson Area will face a Blue Bombers squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Blue Bombers record now stands at 15-1.

With the loss, Louis E. Dieruff falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Huskies host Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA) to face the Mountaineers in a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference challenge on Saturday, May 4. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Stroudsburg won 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Honesdale (Honesdale, PA)
