The South Central Trojans softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Lucas Cubs to 2 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, South Central moves its record to 11-9 on the year. The Trojans travel to Mapleton (Ashland, OH) to clash with the Mounties in a Firelands game on Monday, May 6. The Mounties come into the game with a record of 11-3. Mapleton lost 3-1 in their recent league game against Monroeville (Monroeville, OH)

In their next game, the Cubs clash with the Mt. Gilead Indians (Mt. Gilead, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 4. Lucas will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 6-14 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, OH).
