Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) and the visiting Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL), witnessed Ridgewood's softball squad prevail over Wheaton Academy by a count of 15-0.

The Rebels now sport a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Elmwood Park for a Metro Suburban match on Saturday, May 4. Ridgewood will face a Tigers squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Wheaton Academy moves to 4-14 on the season. The Warriors travel to IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 8. The Knights go into the match with a record of 20-4.
