The Caesar Rodney Riders baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Archmere Academy Auks to 1 in the Riders non-league win on Saturday.
The Riders now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sussex Central for a Henlopen North test on Tuesday, May 6. Caesar Rodney will clash with a Golden Knights team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Golden Knights record now stands at 10-3.
With the defeat, Archmere Academy drops to 7-7 on the year. The Auks travel to Newark Charter School (Newark, DE) to clash with the Patriots in a Diamond State test on Tuesday, May 6. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 8-5. Newark Charter School lost 11-0 in their recent non-league test against William Penn (New Castle, DE)
