In Saturday's non-league bout, the Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host King Vikings (Stamford, CT), by a tally of 9-1.

Next up, the Cougars encounter the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Austin Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Mounties enter the bout with a 7-8 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Northfield Mount Hermon (Mount Hermon, MA).

The Vikings (1-12) will now prepare for their bout against Hopkins (New Haven, CT). The Hilltoppers enter the Fairchester bout with a 7-10 record. In their last bout, Hopkins was overwhelmed by Canterbury School (New Milford, CT), 4-1, in a non-league bout.
