The South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies baseball team scored 18 runs and held the host Buchanan Bucks to 1 in the Huskies non-league win on Saturday.
The Huskies now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Bend Riley for a Northern Indiana test on Tuesday, May 6. South Bend Saint Joseph will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Michigan City (Michigan City, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-12.
With the defeat, Buchanan drops to 4-11 on the year. The Bucks host Berrien Springs (Berrien Springs, MI) to clash with the Shamrocks in a Lakeland test on Tuesday, May 6. The Shamrocks go into the test with a record of 4-7.
