The Burlingame Panthers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Santa Cruz Cardinals to 6 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.
The Panthers now hold a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Menlo-Atherton for a Peninsula - Bay test on Wednesday, May 7. Burlingame will play a Bears team coming off a 5-4 league win over King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA). The Bears record now stands at 16-7.
With the defeat, Santa Cruz drops to 11-11 on the year. The Cardinals travel to San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA) to play the Cougars in a Santa Cruz Coast test on Tuesday, May 6. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 3-18. San Lorenzo Valley lost 5-2 in their recent non-league test against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA)
