Carmel Padres (Carmel, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA), 19-4 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Carmel moves its record to 15-7 on the season. The Padres travel to Soledad (Soledad, CA) to confront the Aztecs in a PCAL - Gabilan match on Tuesday, May 6. The Aztecs come into the match with a record of 8-14. Soledad lost 4-1 in their recent league match against St. Francis (Watsonville, CA)
The Pirates now possess a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rancho San Juan for a PCAL - Mission match on Wednesday, May 7. Stevenson will confront a Trailblazers squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 8-15.
