In Saturday's non-league bout, the Louisburg Wildcats (Louisburg, KS) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chanute Blue Comets (Chanute, KS), by a score of 11-3.
Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Eudora Cardinals (Eudora, KS) in a Frontier bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Louisburg will attempt to advance on its 12-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 4-9 record after their 0-0 non-league Shawnee Mission West (Shawnee Mission, KS).
The Blue Comets (6-12) will now prepare for their bout against Independence (Independence, KS). The Bulldogs enter the Southeast Kansas bout with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Independence was overwhelmed by Chanute (Chanute, KS), 4-2, in a league bout.
