The Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL) baseball got by the host East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Wolves now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forreston for a challenge on Tuesday, May 6. Pearl City will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 22-3 non-league win over Orangeville (Orangeville, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 20-4.
With the defeat, East Dubuque drops to 11-8 on the year. The Warriors host Orion (Orion, IL) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 3. The Chargers go into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Orion lost 10-3 in their recent league challenge against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL)
