Illinois High School Baseball - Freeburg held off by Mascoutah

In Saturday's non-league bout, the Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL) baseball squad the host Freeburg Midgets (Freeburg, IL), by a tally of 8-6.

Next up, the Indians encounter the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Monday, May 5. Mascoutah will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 20-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL).
