California High School Baseball - Homestead holds off Fremont

May 3, 2025: Sunnyvale, CA 94087

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) and the host Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA), saw Homestead's baseball team gain a win over Fremont by a tally of 4-0.

The Mustangs (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA). The Vikings enter the De Anza battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, Palo Alto was overwhelmed by Hollister (Hollister, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Firebirds face the Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA) in a El Camino battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Fremont will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Bruins enter the battle with a 21-3 record after their 15-1 league win over MacDonald (San Jose, CA).
