Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) backers went home content Saturday as they witnessed their baseball team knock off the visiting Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 12-12 record. They take the field next when they host Downers Grove North for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 6. Glenbard South will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 19-5.

With the defeat, Wheeling drops to 9-13 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL) to clash with the Mustangs in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge on Monday, May 5. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 17-8. Rolling Meadows won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL)
