The Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Pioneer Pioneers to 5 in the Blue Devils non-league win on Saturday.
The Blue Devils now own a 20-3 record. They take the field next when they host Adams for a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. Grosse Pointe South will play a Highlanders team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI). The Highlanders record now stands at 15-3.
With the defeat, Pioneer drops to 8-10 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI) to play the Norsemen in a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. The Norsemen go into the test with a record of 3-16. Grosse Pointe North lost 3-0 in their recent league test against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI)
