With the triumph, Thornton Fractional South advances its record to 6-17 on the season. The Red Wolves host Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL) to battle the Meteors in a South Suburban - Blue match on Monday, May 5. The Meteors come into the match with a record of 4-16. Thornton Fractional North lost 13-2 in their recent non-league match against Hammond Baptist (Schererville, IN)

The Steelmen now have a 4-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainfield Central for a Southwest Prairie match on Monday, May 5. Joliet Central will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 20-4.
