In Saturday's non-league bout, the Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), by a tally of 15-0.
Next up, the Knights encounter the Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) in a Interstate Eight bout, on Monday, May 5. Kaneland will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Redskins enter the bout with a 15-6 record after their 11-0 league win over Rochelle (Rochelle, IL).
The Lions (1-19) will now prepare for their bout against Streator (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs enter the Illinois Central Eight bout with a 10-14 record. In their last bout, Streator was overwhelmed by Manteno (Manteno, IL), 5-2, in a league bout.
