In Saturday's non-league game, the host North Stafford Wolverines baseball team scored a nice 13-3 victory over the L.C. Bird Skyhawks.
The Wolverines (6-9) will now prepare for their game against Stafford (Falmouth, VA). The Indians enter the Commonwealth game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Stafford was overwhelmed by Patriot (Nokesville, VA), 11-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Skyhawks face the Huguenot Falcons (Richmond, VA) in a Dominion game, on Tuesday, May 6. L.C. Bird will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record.
