The Pope John XXIII baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Lenape Valley Patriots to 6 in the non-league win on Saturday.
The now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roxbury for a NJAC - American test on Monday, May 5. Pope John XXIII will clash with a Gaels team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Gaels record now stands at 12-4.
With the defeat, Lenape Valley drops to 7-8 on the year. The Patriots travel to Dover (Dover, NJ) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 3-12. Dover lost 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ)
