The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Livingston Lancers (Livingston, NJ) and the host Union City Soaring Eagles (Union City, NJ), saw Livingston's baseball team gain a win over Union City by a tally of 7-1.
The Lancers (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Millburn (Millburn, NJ). The Millers enter the SEC - American battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Millburn held off Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ), 8-7, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Soaring Eagles face the Ferris Bulldogs (Jersey City, NJ) in a HCIAL - American battle, on Monday, May 5. Union City will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 7-9 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ).
