The Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) baseball trounced the host Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals (Warrensburg, IL), 13-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Sages now own a 21-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph-Ogden for a Illini Prairie challenge on Monday, May 5. Monticello will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 24-2.

With the defeat, Warrensburg-Latham drops to 20-3 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Athens (Athens, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Athens lost 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Springfield (Springfield, IL)
