The Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO) baseball trounced the visiting Oak Park Northmen (Kansas City, MO), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 15-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Battle for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 6.
With the defeat, Oak Park drops to 11-15 on the year. The Northmen host Park Hill South (Riverside, MO) to clash with the Panthers in a Class 6 District 8 challenge on Monday, May 5. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Park Hill South won 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Central (St. Joseph, MO)
