In Saturday's non-league bout, the Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI), by a tally of 13-6.
Next up, the Northmen encounter the Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI) in a Big North bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Petoskey will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 5-6 record after their 7-5 non-league win over St. Francis (Traverse City, MI).
The Bluejays (11-3) will now prepare for their bout against Meridian (Sanford, MI). The Mustangs enter the Jack Pine bout with a 4-8 record. In their last bout, Meridian was overwhelmed by Algonac (Algonac, MI), 4-1, in a non-league bout.
