The Rivers Red Wings (Weston, MA) baseball trounced the host St. George's Dragons (Middletown, RI), 16-5 in Saturday's league challenge.
The Red Wings now own a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they host Tabor Academy for a Independent School challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Rivers will clash with a Seawolves team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Noble & Greenough (Dedham, MA). The Seawolves record now stands at 6-5.
With the defeat, St. George's drops to 0-9 on the year. The Dragons travel to Lawrence Academy (Groton, MA) to clash with the Spartans in a Independent School challenge on Wednesday, May 7. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Lawrence Academy won 9-2 in their recent league challenge against Milton Academy (Milton, MA)
