California High School Baseball - South Gate sneaks past Sonora

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) and the host Sonora Raiders (La Habra, CA), saw South Gate's baseball team get by Sonora by a tally of 5-4.

The Rams (8-16) will now prepare for their battle against Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA). The Spartans enter the Eastern battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, Huntington Park was tipped by Legacy (South Gate, CA), 4-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Raiders face the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) in a Freeway battle, on Monday, May 5. Sonora will attempt to upgrade on its 15-11 season record. The Aztecs enter the battle with a 10-16 record after their 12-3 non-league win over South East (South Gate, CA).
