Boonville Pirates (Boonville, MO) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Battle Spartans (Columbia, MO), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Boonville advances its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Marshall (Marshall, MO) to clash with the Owls in a Class 2 District 6 test on Tuesday, May 6. The Owls come into the test with a record of 14-8. Marshall won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Kirksville (Kirksville, MO)

The Spartans now have a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they host Hickman for a non-league test on Monday, May 5. Battle will clash with a Kewpies team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Christian Fellowship (Columbia, MO). The Kewpies record now stands at 7-3.
