In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Berkley Bears soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 win over the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds.
The Bears (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Seaholm/Groves (Birmingham, MI). The Maples enter the non-league outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Seaholm/Groves tipped Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Allen Park Jaguars (Allen Park, MI) in a Downriver outing, on Monday, May 5. Edsel Ford will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Jaguars enter the outing with a 3-8 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Dearborn (Dearborn, MI).
