Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO) and the visiting McAuley Catholic Warriors (Joplin, MO), saw Jefferson City's soccer squad knock off McAuley Catholic by a count of 3-0.

The Jays (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Rolla (Rolla, MO). The Bulldogs enter the Class 3 District 5 battle with a 7-6 record.

Next up, the Warriors confront the Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 5. McAuley Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 7-11 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Camdenton (Camdenton, MO).
