The St. Francis Gladiators baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Alpena Wildcats to 2 in the Gladiators non-league win on Saturday.
The Gladiators now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glen Lake for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. St. Francis will play a Lakers team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Alpena drops to 2-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Gaylord (Gaylord, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 5-2.
