The Comets now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Springfield for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. Coventry will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Firestone (Akron, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, McKinley drops to 1-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to GlenOak (Canton, OH) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 6. The Golden Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 7-3. GlenOak won 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Marlington (Alliance, OH)
