The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers held off the host Western Albemarle Warriors lacrosse team by a tally of 8-7 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Cavaliers play the William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 5. Jefferson Forest will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Terriers come into the game with a 2-4 record after their 8-8 non-league Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA).
The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets come into the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Orange County was tipped by Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 6-3, in a non-league game.
