The Andrew Thunderbolts lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the host Plainfield North Tigers to 5 in the Thunderbolts league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunderbolts now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waubonsie Valley for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. Andrew will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 13-9 non-league loss to St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Plainfield North falls to 3-9 on the year. The Tigers host Normal Community (Normal, IL) to clash with the Ironmen in a South Suburban challenge on Wednesday, May 7. The Ironmen go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Normal Community lost 14-7 in their recent league challenge against Lemont (Lemont, IL)
