The Avon Lake Shoremen lacrosse team (Avon Lake, OH), was tipped 7-6 in Saturday's league battle with the host Highland Hornets (Medina, OH)
With the victory, Highland advances its record to 9-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Copley (Copley, OH) to encounter the Indians in a Region 5 battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 8-4. Copley won 16-3 in their recent league battle against Revere (Richfield, OH)
The Shoremen now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Strongsville for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8.
