The Carmel Corsairs lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the host Prospect Knights to 2 in the Corsairs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Corsairs now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Palatine for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 6. Carmel will face a Pirates squad coming off a 22-10 league win over Wheeling (Wheeling, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Prospect falls to 8-6 on the year. The Knights host Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL) to face the Mustangs in a Mid Suburban outing on Monday, May 5. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 7-6. Rolling Meadows won 12-8 in their recent league outing against Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL)
