Fans at Saturday's league test between the Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN) and the host Gibson Southern Titans (Fort Branch, IN), witnessed Carroll's lacrosse squad hold off Gibson Southern by a count of 8-7.
The Chargers (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 11-3 record. In their last outing, Evansville Reitz nudged Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN), 14-0, in a non-league outing.
With the loss, Gibson Southern falls to 5-5 on the year.
