Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the Gainesville Cardinals (Gainesville, VA) and the visiting Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA), witnessed Gainesville's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Woodson by a count of 14-8.

The Cardinals (12-1) will now prepare for their test against McLean (McLean, VA). The Highlanders enter the non-league test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, McLean was overwhelmed by Yorktown (Arlington, VA), 13-6, in a league test.

Next, the Cavaliers battle the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) in a Patriot test, on Tuesday, May 6. Woodson will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Bruins enter the test with a 5-7 record after their 14-1 league loss to Robinson (Fairfax, VA).
