Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) followers exited the stadium satisfied Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the host Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI), 14-13 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Grosse Pointe South advances its record to 7-5 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI) to play the Tars in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 6. The Tars come into the game with a record of 2-7.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dakota for a non-league game on Monday, May 5. Notre Dame Prep will play a Cougars team coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 9-3.
